The subject of the M.Sc. program in “Informatics and Telematics” is the education of graduates from Universities and Technical Educational Institutes (TEI) in specialized topics and applications of Computer Science and Telecommunications. This includes, but is not limited to, the fields of network-centric information systems, internet technologies and electronic services, data analysis and management, and the efficient development and operation of information systems for the benefit of organizations investing in these areas. Emphasis is placed on the Telecommunications sector, which is related to network and internet technologies and has specific applications in areas such as education, economy, health, and transportation.
In shaping a framework of research and teaching collaboration with Universities and other Institutions in Greece and abroad, a significant number of instructors result from Universities in Greece and abroad, as well as from public or private entities and organizations.
Enhancing the mobility of students and teaching staff to research centers or Universities in Greece and abroad for conducting research and participating in conferences.
a) The design and implementation of innovative electronic telecommunication services.
b) The development and design of appropriate information systems to support these services.
c) The development of suitable network technologies for the transmission of necessary information to and from the end user.
