Application and Admission Process:

  • During the Spring Semester the Department publishes an invitation, which is posted on the website της Σχολής, για την εισαγωγή φοιτητών στο Π.Μ.Σ., του οποίου η έναρξη έχει προγραμματιστεί για το αμέσως επόμενο ακαδημαϊκό έτος
  • Interested students have the right to apply for enrolment in the MSc within the time limit set by the publication of the call for applications. Candidates' applications must be accompanied by the requisite supporting documents. Applications not accompanied by the necessary certificates and other supporting documents will not be taken into consideration in the selection procedure.
  •  The Selection Committee for Postgraduate Students, which is composed of members of the Department's faculty, checks and evaluates the applications of the candidates and ranks them in order of success after taking into account their qualifications.

The application Step by Step

1

Login to the online application

The first step in submitting your application is to log in to the Application Application for Postgraduate Studies. You will be asked to register as a new user so that you can log in and select our Graduate Program to create and submit your application form.

Welcome!

2

Submission of the online application

In the second step you will have to follow and complete the steps of the form that will gradually lead you to the completion of your application. In this step you will first be asked to indicate in order of preference the directions of the programme (your first choice is the direction in which you will be assessed with priority), then you will be asked to fill in the necessary personal data, your studies, assignments, languages, professional experience and additional information that will help in the assessment of your application. At the end you will be asked to attach the necessary supporting documents and either finalise your application or save it temporarily.

3

Gather the necessary documents

An equally important and necessary step when submitting your application is the collection of the necessary supporting documents mentioned in the invitation, which you will be asked to attach to your online application:

  • Copies of diplomas and transcripts (clear photocopies). In the case of graduates from foreign universities, a certificate of recognition from a competent authority
  • Summary of a thesis or dissertation, if it has been written or is being written
  • Detailed curriculum vitae
  • Up to two (2) letters of recommendation
  • Copies of scientific publications, articles, etc. (if available)
  • Certificate of relevant professional experience (if available)
  • Τεκμηρίωση επαρκούς γνώσης της Αγγλικής γλώσσας
  • Photocopy of two sides of the identity card
  • Any other evidence that can support your application
4

Check your application

Before finalizing your application you should make sure that you have added all the necessary information and requested documents, then finalize the application and submit it. You will shortly receive confirmation from the system that your application has been submitted, but you will also receive an update from the Secretariat with any comments and the file number assigned to your application after it has been successfully submitted.

At this point you have essentially completed the most important step!

5

Interview procedure

Another important step for your selection to the postgraduate programme is the interview with the Application Evaluation Committee. Having successfully completed the previous steps, the Evaluation Committee will invite you to an oral interview at the end of the application deadline and having done an initial check and evaluated the documents you have submitted, in order to get to know you better and to answer any questions you may have about the programme. The interview is an important part and a weighted criterion of your final evaluation.

We want to meet you and we want you to get to know us!

6

Final selection

At this step your work is essentially done! The Evaluation Committee will have to look at all the criteria mentioned above and come up with the successful candidates. The relevant results are then announced and your ranking according to the selection criteria and your own preference for the programme's directions. The results in order of ranking are announced around July and you are immediately informed of the procedures for enrolment in the programme by the Secretariat. In case of extensions of the call you follow exactly the same procedure.

Registration Process

Upon your selection for the postgraduate programme, the Secretariat will inform you about the registration procedure. Your registration is effectively an acceptance of your place on the programme and must be completed within the deadlines indicated in the relevant notification by submitting all the required documents (application form and deposit slips for the advance payment of tuition fees and any additional supporting documents). Failure to submit all the required documents will not finalise your enrolment in the programme. Only registered students, who wish to do so, may apply for a waiver of the tuition fees for the postgraduate programme in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 4485/2017 (article 35).

Congratulations you are now graduate students of our Department!
