Responsibilities:

  • presides over the Coordinating Committee (C.C.)
  • presents issues related to the organization and operation of the M.Sc. to the Department Assembly
  • makes recommendations to the C.C. and other bodies of the M.Sc. and the institution on matters concerning the effective operation of the M.Sc.,
  • is the Scientific Supervisor of the program, 
  • monitors the implementation of decisions by the bodies of the M.Sc. and the Internal Regulations of postgraduate and doctoral study programs, as well as the monitoring of the budget execution of the M.Sc., 
  • exercises any other competence specified in the decision establishing the M.Sc.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares the initial annual budget of the M.Sc. and its modifications, if the M.Sc. has resources, and proposes its approval to the Research Committee
  • Prepares the program's report and proposes its approval to the Department Assembly,
  • Approves the expenses of the M.Sc.,
  • Approves the awarding of scholarships, remunerative or not, in accordance with the decision establishing the M.Sc. and the Regulations of postgraduate and doctoral studies,
  • Proposes to the Department Assembly the distribution of teaching duties, as well as the assignment of teaching duties to the categories of teaching staff,
  • Proposes to the Department Assembly the invitation of Visiting Professors to cover the teaching needs of the M.Sc.,
  • Prepares a plan for the modification of the curriculum, which is submitted to the Department Assembly,
  • Proposes to the Department Assembly the redistribution of courses among academic semesters, as well as issues related to the qualitative upgrade of the study program.
