Infrastructures

The Department has modern classrooms and fully equipped teaching facilities.  computer labs, multimedia applications,  telecommunications, Internet of Things (IoT) applications and  private cloud computing infrastructures that support the operation, the  teaching and research needs of the MSc.  

Department's Building

In August 2013 the Department moved to its new premises at 9 Omirou Street in Tavros. The new privately owned building of the University fully serves the needs of the Department and has 6 floors and 3 basements (2 underground parking). 

Classrooms

On the 1st floor of the building there is a large room with a capacity of 120 people (amphitheatre) and 3 smaller rooms that serve the educational needs of the department.

PC laboratory

The 2nd floor laboratory is used exclusively by the students of the Department of Computer Science & Telematics, in order to support the courses that require the completion of laboratory exercises.

35 workstations 

Hours of operation: Weekdays 08:00 - 22:00 and weekends 09:00 - 20:00

 

Thin Client Laboratory

The laboratory on the 4th floor is used exclusively by the students of the Department of Computer Science & Telematics, in order to support the courses that require the completion of laboratory exercises.

32 workstations

Hours of operation: Weekdays 08:00 - 22:00 and weekends 09:00 - 20:00. 

Electronics and Telecommunications Laboratory

The Electronics and Telecommunications laboratory is used exclusively by the students of the Department of Computer Science & Telematics, in order to support the courses that require the completion of laboratory exercises (Electronics, Logic Design).

12 × 3 workstations

Hours of operation according to the course schedule. In any other case by arrangement with the laboratory manager.
